Promotion Terms
These Promotion Terms explain how Midu discounts, promotional codes, seasonal offers, sale events, free gifts, bundles, email offers and other promotional activities may apply on www.midu.uk.
About these Promotion Terms
These Promotion Terms apply to promotional offers made by Midu on www.midu.uk, through email newsletters, website banners, checkout messages, social media posts, customer care messages or other promotional communications.
Promotions may include discount codes, sale prices, limited-time offers, free gifts, bundles, threshold offers, delivery offers, newsletter offers or other promotional campaigns.
Some promotions may have separate terms shown on the relevant product page, promotional page, email, banner or checkout page. If separate terms are provided, those specific terms will apply together with these Promotion Terms.
By using a promotion, you agree to follow the terms that apply to that promotion and our wider Terms of Service.
Types of promotions
Midu may offer different types of promotions from time to time. Not every promotion will be available to every customer, product, category, location or order.
Discount codes
A code entered at checkout that applies a discount where all relevant conditions are met.
Sale prices
Reduced prices shown directly on product pages or during seasonal sale events.
Free gifts
A gift offered with qualifying purchases, subject to availability and any stated conditions.
Bundle offers
Offers that apply when selected products are purchased together or when a minimum order value is met.
Promotion eligibility
Each promotion may have eligibility requirements. These requirements may be shown in the promotion message, product page, checkout page, email, banner or separate promotional terms.
Customer eligibility
Some promotions may be limited to new customers, newsletter subscribers, returning customers or selected customer groups.
Product eligibility
Some products, brands, categories, sale items, gift cards or limited items may be excluded.
Order eligibility
Some offers may require a minimum order value, selected quantity or qualifying product combination.
Delivery eligibility
Some promotions may depend on delivery destination, shipping method or courier availability.
Using promotional codes
Promotional codes must be entered correctly at checkout before an order is placed. If a code is not entered, is entered incorrectly or does not apply to the order, the discount may not be applied.
Unless the promotion clearly says otherwise, promotional codes cannot usually be applied after an order has already been placed.
A code may have limits such as one use per customer, one use per order, a minimum spend, product exclusions, expiry date or limited availability.
If a promotional code is not working, please check the code spelling, expiry date, qualifying products, minimum order value and any exclusions before contacting support.
Promotion periods and expiry
Promotions may be available for a limited time only. The start date, end date or expiry time may be shown in the promotion message where applicable.
If no specific end date is shown, the promotion may end when stock runs out, when the campaign is removed from the website, or when Midu reasonably decides to end the promotion.
Promotional codes or offers will not normally be valid after their expiry date. Expired promotions cannot be guaranteed, extended or reactivated.
Exclusions and restrictions
Promotions may not apply to all items or all orders. Exclusions and restrictions may vary by campaign.
Excluded products
Certain products, categories, limited items, sale items, pre-order items or special items may be excluded.
Code stacking
Unless clearly stated, multiple promotional codes cannot usually be combined on the same order.
Minimum spend
Some promotions apply only when the order reaches a stated minimum value after exclusions.
Limited availability
Promotions may be subject to stock, size, colour, delivery or availability limits.
Sale prices and savings claims
Midu may display sale prices, reduced prices, percentage discounts, “was” prices, “from” prices, “up to” savings or similar promotional savings messages.
We aim to ensure that promotional price messages are clear and not misleading. Where savings are shown, they may depend on the product, size, colour, stock, promotion period or reference price used.
Some savings may vary across products in a category. A headline such as “up to” means the highest saving may apply only to selected qualifying items.
Product prices and promotions may change from time to time. Adding a product to a cart does not guarantee that the same price or promotion will remain available until checkout is completed.
Free gifts and gift-with-purchase offers
From time to time, Midu may offer free gifts or gift-with-purchase promotions. These offers may be subject to qualifying spend, selected products, stock availability and other conditions.
Subject to availability
Free gifts may be limited and may end when available stock is allocated.
Alternative gifts
If a gift becomes unavailable, Midu may withdraw the gift or offer a reasonable alternative where appropriate.
Returned orders
If a qualifying order is returned, the free gift may also need to be returned or its value may be considered when processing a refund.
No cash value
Free gifts cannot normally be exchanged for cash, credit or another item unless required by applicable law.
Delivery offers
Some promotions may relate to delivery, such as free shipping, reduced shipping or delivery upgrades. Delivery promotions may be subject to destination, courier availability, minimum spend, product type or delivery method.
A free shipping threshold may be calculated after discounts, exclusions or returns, depending on the specific promotion.
Delivery promotions do not guarantee a specific delivery date unless a specific delivery promise is clearly stated at checkout.
Returns, refunds and cancelled orders
If an order placed using a promotion is returned, cancelled or partially refunded, the promotion may be recalculated or removed depending on the remaining order value and promotion conditions.
If a discount was applied across multiple products, the refund may reflect the discounted amount paid for the returned product rather than the original full price.
If a promotion required a minimum spend and a return causes the order to fall below that minimum spend, the discount, free gift or promotional benefit may be adjusted where appropriate.

Errors, misuse and fair use
Midu may cancel, refuse or adjust a promotion where there is a clear pricing error, technical issue, misuse, suspected fraud, abuse of promotional codes or use that does not match the promotion conditions.
Examples may include using a code in a way not intended, creating multiple accounts to bypass limits, using automated methods, manipulating checkout, or attempting to combine offers in a way not permitted.
If an obvious error occurs, we may contact you to correct the order, cancel the affected promotion or provide available options.
Promotions shown in emails and social media
Promotions may be shown through newsletters, social media posts, online advertisements, website banners or customer communications. The details shown in those messages may be limited by space.
Customers should review the product page, checkout page and any linked promotion terms before placing an order.
If a promotion is shared by a third party, influencer, affiliate or social media account, Midu is not responsible for incorrect wording unless the promotion was authorised and provided by Midu.
Competitions, giveaways and prize promotions
If Midu runs a competition, giveaway, prize draw or similar prize promotion, additional terms may apply. These may include eligibility rules, entry method, opening and closing dates, prize details, winner selection, winner notification and delivery rules.
Prize promotions may have their own separate terms and conditions. If there is any conflict between these Promotion Terms and the specific prize promotion terms, the specific prize promotion terms will apply for that promotion.
Do not enter a competition or giveaway if you do not agree with the terms shown for that promotion.
Changes to promotions
Midu may update, withdraw, extend or end a promotion where reasonably necessary, including where stock changes, technical issues occur, a promotion is misused, legal requirements change or an obvious error is identified.
Any changes will not affect statutory rights that apply to completed purchases.
We aim to keep promotional information clear and accurate, but customers should always review the final price, delivery cost, discount and order details before confirming checkout.
